VINTNER'S AUCTION CLASSIC:

The Vintner's Auction Classic benefits the Palace Theatre Restoration Fund and the Texas Wine & Grape Growers Association. Tickets for the Vintner's Auction Classic on Friday night, September 13, are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Richard Blenko, President of Blenko Art Glass Company in Milton, West Virginia, will be at the auction and into the action. "We are thrilled that The British Emporium in conjunction with Mr. Blenko has donated two huge pieces of beautiful art glass to GrapeFest. One piece will be offered in the live auction on Friday night, and the other will be offered in the silent auction on Saturday night at the Texas Wine Tribute," says Kathee Livengood, Vintner's Auction Chair. "The glass, from the Richard Blenko Studio Collection, is signed and dated. He also chose the colors himself and commissioned them for GrapeFest. We invite everyone to come out on Friday evening and meet our special guest," she continues. Richard Blenko is well known throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex because of his frequent appearances on KERA Channel 13.

GrapeFest is the largest wine festival in the Southwest. Wines from 26 Texas wineries, the Southwest, and six international countries may be enjoyed at GrapeFest.
